10.27.10 | Part of being a great neighbor is helping out your friends when they need you, and that’s exactly what Tedeschi’s sets out to do as much as possible. Last Monday, October 18th, Joe Hamza, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Steve Monaco, Director of Purchasing, played in the Paul Snell Charity Golf Classic and had fun while doing some good.
Held at the Hatherly Country Club in Scituate, the Classic raised over $100,000 for the South Shore Hospital’s Fund for Hope, which supports innovative cancer care and clinical trials for cancer patients in the Southeastern Massachusetts area. 125 participants from around the country enjoyed a round of golf on a spectacularly scenic course followed by dinner and an awards reception.
Paul Snell was a Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Pepsi Bottling Company as well as an avid supporter and trustee of South Shore Hospital. Paul, who passed away last year due to cancer, lived in Norwell, MA with his wife and 4 children.
Joe and Steve said that they loved contributing to such a wonderful charity that supports the communities they live in. They also said they bested the other 123 golfers who played, but I’ll believe that when I see it!
